Can we change the flight date after booking in SpiceJet?

If the passenger wishes to change any of the details on the booking, such as the date, time, or cancellation, it has been advised to change or cancel the flight at least 2 hours before the flight departure schedule. 

• If it is a free date change, the change must be requested at least 48 hours before the flight departure schedule. It has been suggested that a regular flight change fee will apply after a flight change. The fare difference also applies and needs to be paid by the customers. 
• Suppose the flight has been booked through a third-party agency or travel agent. In that case, passengers need to contact that particular agency or third party to make further changes to the flight details instead of connecting with SpiceJet's official page. 
• After the flight change, if the new flight itinerary is costlier than the previous flight itinerary, then an extra amount will be charged that can be paid through your account; on the other hand, if the new flight is cheaper than the previous flight, then the remaining amount will come back to the original payment details. 
• If your flight has been canceled or delayed due to an exceptional scenario on the airline's part, you can change it to a different schedule free of cost. 
• As per the airline rule, if the flight has been changed, then the cost will also be charged, but the airline runs a scheme in which eligible passengers are invited to change their confirmed flight to a different time with the help of a Spicejet voucher. 

How much does it cost to change the flight date?

If the flight has been canceled or changed by requesting a Spicejet reservation or at the airport ticket counter, then the sum of rs 250 per head will be charged as Spicejet reschedule charges, along with other charges as per the service, tax, or acceptable. The flight change price depends on the type of flight booked as well as the route chosen to the destination. 

It has been recommended that the flight change fees be paid through Internet banking or a credit card so that extra charges will not be deducted from the flight fare. 

How can I reschedule my flight after booking?

You can reschedule a Spicejet flight after booking using the Manage My Trip option on the airline's official page. After entering the details, you can change the date and reschedule the flight. 

• Open the official panel of SpiceJet.
• Now, enter the booking number and surname, and then click on the continue button.
• The panel will show the booking details under that click on the flight change button.
• Following that, make the changes in the flight details and confirm it
• Finally, get the confirmation code message sent to the given email address.
