Does Air India allow pets in-cabin?

  • If the pet's weight with the carriage crosses the limit of 7 kg but remains under 32 kg then they will be allowed to travel as checked luggage.

  • Domesticated pets such as dogs and cats will be authorized to travel in the cabin or can be brought to the flight.

  • Make sure that the pet is in a soft and ventilated kennel with 46×46×30 cm dimensions. 
  • Do not place food inside the carriage. 
  • No unaccompanied minors can travel with pets.
